Participants will also have the opportunity to visit the center of the world’s energy and learn about Mongolia’s cultural heritage. The journey includes a visit to the capital of Dornogovi Province, Sainshand, where travelers can explore and purchase Mongolian brand products.

Day 1: Arrival and Exploring Sainshand

  • 09:00 AM – Cross the border from Ereen City into Mongolia through the Zamyn-Uud checkpoint.
  • 11:00 AM – Depart from Zamyn-Uud and travel to Sainshand, the capital of Dornogovi Province. The journey is approximately 230 km on paved roads.
  • Lunch in Sainshand at a local restaurant.
  • After lunch, visit the Sainshand Museum to learn about the region’s history and culture.
  • Explore a stone factory and brand product stores for unique Mongolian-made goods.
  • Enjoy an art performance showcasing Mongolian music and dance.
  • Dinner at the camp, followed by rest and overnight stay. (L+D)

Day 2: Khamriin khiid monastery

  • 07:00 AM – After breakfast, depart by bus to Khamrin Khiid Monastery.
  • Visit the Energy Center and make a pilgrimage to Khusliin Khar Uul (Wishing Mountain).
  • Explore a nomadic family and learn about their traditional lifestyle.
  • Lunch at a tourist camp near Khamrin Khiid between 12:00–13:00.
  • 14:00 PM – Return to Sainshand.
  • Visit the local museum in Sainshand and shop at brand product stores.
  • Dinner at the tourist camp and rest overnight. (B+L+D)

Day 3: Zamiin-Üüd Border

  • 07:30 AM – After breakfast, travel to Burden Els Resort (147 km) to explore the area and enjoy its natural beauty.
  • From Burden Els, continue the journey to Zamiin-Üüd Border (54 km).
  • Arrive at the tourist camp near Zamiin-Üüd, have dinner, and rest overnight. (B+L+D)

Day 4: Departure Mongolia

  • 08:00 AM – After breakfast, depart from the tourist camp and head to the Zamiin-Üüd Border Checkpoint to complete the border registration process.
  • Board the border bus for crossing into China. (B)

  • Stay in shared 2-4 person Mongolian traditional gers (yurts).
  • Western-style shared facilities: Showers and toilets in communal buildings.

Meals:

  • Water: 0.5L per person per day (2 bottles per person).

Transportation:

  • Mitsubishi Delica 4×4 off-road van with 6 seats for the trip.
  • If it’s a large group, we will provide transportation using a coach bus with 45 seats for the tourists.

  • Solo Accommodation in Hotels/Guesthouses: If staying alone, there is an extra charge of 400 CNY for hotel rooms or 250 CNY for a ger.
  • Additional accommodation costs if the capacity of the tourist camp is exceeded, and solo bookings cannot be accepted.
