DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Journey into the Gobi
- 08:00 AM – Cross the border from Sekhe to Shiveekhuren.
- 11:00 AM – Depart from Shiveekhuren and travel to Gurvantes soum in Umnugovi province for lunch.
- After lunch, continue the journey on an off-road route from Gurvantes to Sevrei soum.
- Cross the stunning Khongor Sand Dunes via “Uujimyn Garam” and arrive at Gobi Discovery Tourist Camp.
- Enjoy a delicious dinner at the camp and rest overnight. /B, L, D/

Day 2: Adventure in the Khongor Sand Dunes
- 07:00 AM – Enjoy breakfast at the camp.
- Depart for “Seruun Bulag” by vehicle.
- Visit a local nomadic family (hosted by Mr. Jagaa) and experience a 1-hour camel ride.
- Explore the traditional nomadic lifestyle and take a short hike around the sand dunes.
- Return to the camp and have lunch between 12:00 – 1:00 PM.
- 2:00 PM – Travel to “Duut Mankhan”, the Singing Dune of Khongor.
- Climb to the peak of the dunes, take stunning photos, and enjoy activities such as sand sledding.
- 6:00 PM – Return to the camp.
- Enjoy dinner at the camp and relax for the night. (B+L+D)

Day 3: Discovering the Land of Dinosaurs
- 07:30 AM – Enjoy breakfast at the camp.
- Depart from Khongor Sand Dunes and travel towards Bulgan Soum, passing through its center.
- Arrive at Bayanzag, also known as the “Flaming Cliffs”, a world-renowned dinosaur fossil site.
- Enjoy lunch near Bayanzag before visiting the Dinosaur Museum.
- Take a guided walk around Bayanzag, exploring its stunning red sandstone formations and searching for traces of ancient dinosaurs.
- Arrive at Gobi Tour Tourist Camp, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night. (B+L+D)

- Hike through the dramatic Yolyn Am (Vulture Valley), known for its breathtaking canyon and year-round ice formations.
- Near Yolyn Am, take part in a 1-hour horseback riding experience, relax, and capture beautiful photos.
- Enjoy lunch at “Gobi Urguu” Tourist Camp.
- In the afternoon, travel by vehicle to visit Mukhar Shivert Canyon, another hidden gem of the Gobi.
