1. Introduction.

Welcome to Mongolian Royal Tours. By booking a tour with us, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms are designed to protect both our valued guests and our company, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and legally sound travel experience.

2. Booking & Payment.

A deposit of USD 150 per person is required to secure your booking. Once we have received your deposit, we will send you a confirmation of your booking with details for paying the balance. The remaining balance must be paid at least 2 months prior to the start of your trip. If you book within 2 months of the start date of your trip, full payment is required at the time of booking. If the balance is not paid within the specified time, Mongolian Royal Tours will consider your booking as cancelled and will charge a cancellation fee as set out below.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Cancellations received less than 60 days prior to departure will be subject to a $100 service fee. If you cancel after full payment has been made, the following fees will apply:

   –  40-59 days prior to departure: 25% of the trip cost

   –  29-39 days prior to departure: 35% of the trip cost

   –  15-28 days prior to departure: 40% of the trip cost

   –  10-14 days prior to departure: 50% of the trip cost.

Cancellations made less than 9 days before departure are non-refundable. In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), non-refunds will be issued according to company policies and applicable laws.

4. Travel Insurance.

All travelers are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and other unforeseen circumstances. Comprehensive travel insurance is essential, therefore, whenever you travel abroad. We recommend you that you should arrange own travel insurance. Mongolian Royal Tours is not liable for any expenses arising from inadequate insurance coverage. On the tours it is necessary that you agree to abide by the authority of the tour guide who will be working to ensure the safety and welfare of the group.

5. Responsibilities & Liabilities.

We are accepting your order as you acknowledge the inherent risks and dangers of travel and agree to be responsible for your own actions and safety. Mongolian Royal Tours acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, transport, guides, etc.). While we ensure quality services, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage caused by third parties. “Mongolian Royal Tour” is responsibility begins when you meet your tour guide at the scheduled meeting point and time, which is in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. We will not be responsible for any costs or inconveniences incurred before or during your absence from the tour. No refund or compensation will be given for any unused transport, accommodation, services or features of the tour. We reserve the right to modify tour itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, ensuring the best possible experience for our clients. Travelers must comply with local laws and customs during the tour. Personal property is always your own responsibility, as is ensuring that you have all the appropriate passport and visa requirements for the duration of the tour.

6. Health & Safety.

Travelers must ensure they are in good health and fit to participate in the chosen tour. Any medical conditions should be disclosed to us at the time of booking. Our tours may involve physical activities such as hiking and horseback riding; participation is at the traveler’s own risk. We cannot be held liable for any actions or events that could have been avoided with proper disclosure of information.

7. Force Majeure.

Mongolian Royal Tours is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to unforeseen events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or public health emergencies. For example: We will not be responsible for any terrorist attacks, political unrest, war, earthquakes, landslides, cancellations or delays of airline or train services.

8. Privacy Policy.

We respect your privacy and will handle your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Information collected will only be used for booking purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

9. Complaints & Dispute Resolution.

Any complaints during the tour should be reported to our tour leader or customer service immediately for resolution and they will normally be rectified or appropriate action taken. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be handled in accordance with Mongolian law and international tourism regulations.

10. Governing Law.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Mongolia and applicable international tourism regulations. If you require further action on return we will try and work towards an agreed settlement but you must notify us in writing within 14 days of the completion date of the tour. By booking a tour with Mongolian Royal Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
